Metaproject, Ingeniería e Innovación S.A, a leader in engineering services, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Ecuadorian consulting firm, ASTEC, Asesoría Técnica Cía. Ltda., in order to combine the experience and reliability of the two companies.
The new strategic partners will pursue business and projects jointly in Ecuador, providing services and products specializing in mining engineering, to contribute to strong growth of Ecuador’s mining cluster.

Manuel Viera-Flores, General Manager of Metaproject, entered into this strategic alliance along with Juan Pablo Moncayo, Project Developer of ASTEC, at the headquarters of the Chilean consulting firm, stating that, by combining Metaproject’s technical experience and knowledge in Mining and Industrial Engineering with ASTEC’s logistics and advisory assistance, “We will conquer the Ecuadorian market”.
ASTEC Cía. Ltda. is a consulting firm working in engineering, economics, planning and improving leadership and administrative, operational and financial management of private companies and public agencies, in the areas of Transport, Energy, Sanitation, Irrigation and Drainage, Agriculture and Agroindustries, Urban and Rural Planning.
